The service

Try Day Club is a Los Angeles rental pilot for verified drivers. Booking a car creates a rental request under these terms plus the trip details shown at checkout.

Eligibility & verification

You must be 21 or older and hold a valid driver's license. Every new renter completes identity verification (Stripe Identity) before their first trip. We may refuse or cancel a booking if verification fails or information is inaccurate.

Payment, deposit & cancellation

This pilot uses Stripe test-mode payments. The trip total shown at checkout is collected at booking after identity verification. There is no separate security-deposit charge in this test pilot.

Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup for a full refund of rental, extras, delivery, and tax. Within 24 hours and before pickup, 50% of those charges is refunded. The insurance fee is non-refundable. No cancellation refund is available after pickup.

Mileage & overage

Each vehicle includes a daily mileage allowance shown on its listing. Miles beyond the allowance are billed at the per-mile rate shown on the listing, charged after return.

Insurance

The current pilot shows an ABI demo insurance flow. The insurance fee is collected at booking, and the operator issues a simulated ABI demo rental period at check-in. This pilot does not issue real insurance coverage.

You are responsible for damage, tolls, tickets, and violations during your trip window, subject to the trip terms confirmed before keys are released.

Pickup, delivery & return

Pickup is at our Los Angeles lot, or delivery to a validated address within our LA metro service area shown at checkout. Return the car at the agreed time with the same fuel level; late returns are billed at the daily rate plus a late fee.

Prohibited use

No smoking, no off-road use, no subletting, no rideshare or delivery work without written approval, no driving outside California without approval. Violations may lead to extra charges.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the affected trip. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under law.
