The service

Try Day Club is a Los Angeles car rental service for verified drivers. Booking a car creates a rental request under these terms plus the trip details shown at checkout.

Eligibility & verification

You must be 21 or older and hold a valid driver's license. Every new renter completes identity verification (Stripe Identity) before their first trip. We may refuse or cancel a booking if verification fails or information is inaccurate.

Payment, deposit & cancellation

The trip total shown at checkout is collected through Stripe at booking after identity verification. Any promo discount and deposit are shown before confirmation. A fully discounted reservation does not require a card charge.

Cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund of the booking total, including coverage. After those 24 hours, cancelling before pickup refunds 50% of the booking total, including coverage. No cancellation refund is available after pickup.

Mileage & overage

Each vehicle includes a daily mileage allowance shown on its listing. Miles beyond the allowance are billed at the per-mile rate shown on the listing, charged after return.

Insurance

You must bring your own full-coverage auto insurance that extends to rental cars. Provide your insurance ID card and declaration page for team review and approval before pickup. Optional daily full coverage is pending and cannot currently be purchased. Uploading documents does not itself establish coverage approval.

You are responsible for damage, tolls, tickets, and violations during your trip window, subject to the trip terms confirmed before keys are released.

Pickup, delivery & return

Pickup is in Playa Vista. Delivery to an eligible Los Angeles address, including LAX arrangements, is available for an additional fee shown at checkout. Select pickup and return times in Los Angeles time. Return with the agreed fuel level unless prepaid fuel is included. We show any additional extension charge, including selected coverage, before you pay. Extension payment is collected before the request goes to the team, and the original return time applies until approval. Extras can be added until 24 hours before pickup and are confirmed after payment. Early return does not trigger an automatic refund.

Prohibited use

No smoking, no off-road use, no subletting, no rideshare or delivery work without written approval, no driving outside California without approval. Violations may lead to extra charges.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the affected trip. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under law.
