Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data: name and email address.

Identity verification: document and selfie checks are performed by Stripe Identity. We receive the verification result and session reference — we do not store images of your documents, selfies, or full driver's license details on our own servers.

Agreements and private files: contract text, recipient, attachments, typed signature, account email, consent, timestamps and activity records. Uploaded filenames are retained to help you and operators identify documents. Signed records remain available in My documents.

Payment data: card details are collected and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Trip data: vehicle, dates, pickup or delivery address, and location pins you set for delivery.

Optional applications: vehicle ownership and inspection details, condition photographs, partnership or membership interests, and auto-policy documents you submit for a coverage review. These documents are separate from Stripe Identity checks and are stored privately by us.

How we use it

To verify you are eligible to drive, to book and price trips, to track the pilot's simulated ABI demo insurance status, and to process payments and refunds.

To contact you about your trip — confirmations, changes, extensions, and incident follow-up.

Who we share it with

Stripe — payments and identity verification.

American Business Insurance demo tooling — to simulate the pilot insurance flow. The current pilot does not send renter data to a live insurance carrier to bind real coverage.

Vehicle data providers (Auto.dev, NHTSA) — to decode VINs. No personal renter data is sent to these services.

When enabled by the operator and allowed by your choice, Google Analytics receives sanitized page events and Meta receives a page-view pixel request. These services may process technical identifiers and network information. Advertising sharing may qualify as sharing under California privacy law. We do not load optional tracking before consent.

Hosting inspection and auto-policy documents are available only to their uploader and authorized operators through the application. Public editorial photographs use a separate public store.

California residents (CCPA)

You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing team@trydayclub.com without creating an account. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing account records. Applicable legal and insurance obligations may limit deletion.

Use Your Privacy Choices in the footer to decline optional tracking or withdraw consent. We honor Global Privacy Control by disabling optional analytics and advertising. You can choose essential storage only and still use the rental service. Applicable rights include opting out of sale or sharing, and protection from discrimination for exercising those rights.

Data security & retention

Session cookies are signed and HTTP-only. The privacy-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days; the appearance preference stays in browser storage until removed. First-party traffic aggregates cover up to 90 days and contain no raw IP address, email or individual visitor profile. Old aggregate rows are pruned when new events are recorded.

Trip records are retained for accounting and insurance-claim purposes. Application documents are retained for review and any resulting contractual or legal needs. Contact us for a retention or deletion request. We do not automatically delete documents when an application changes status.

If European or UK data-protection law applies to your relationship with us, contact us to exercise applicable access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and consent-withdrawal rights. Service processing depends on the requested contract and relevant legal obligations; optional tracking depends on consent. Provider processing may occur outside your location. This pilot policy must be matched to the final operating entity and vendor agreements before a live launch.
